Feature List
- Never miss the finish line — get notified on your phone the instant a render completes, wherever you are.
- Works with any render engine in 3ds Max — Corona, V-Ray, Arnold, Scanline, whatever you’re running. RenderBeep isn’t tied to one engine.
- Nothing leaves your computer except a one-line message — not your scene, not your models, not your textures, not even the rendered image itself.
- Set up once, forget it exists — the Telegram connection takes ~30 seconds and stays active session to session.
- No account, no login, no password — just your existing Telegram.
- Turn it off in one click — Disconnect clears everything instantly, no lingering data.
- Also available for Blender — same idea, same free price, for artists who split time between the two.
- Actually free — not a trial, not “free tier,” not a bait for a paid upgrade.
Why I Built RenderBeep
I make 3D models for marketplaces — that’s my day job, not a side project. I built RenderBeep because I got tired of losing time to my own renders: sitting there watching a progress bar, or stepping away and forgetting to check back for way too long.
So I built the smallest possible fix. Not a render farm, not a queue manager, not another subscription — just a message that tells me the second it’s done, so I can go back to doing literally anything else in the meantime. I use it on every render I run, on every project. Once it worked for me, I cleaned it up and made it free for anyone else dealing with the same problem — including a Blender version, since not everyone lives in 3ds Max full time.
Is RenderBeep really free? Yes — completely free, for everyone, no trial period and no paid upgrade waiting behind it.
Will installing RenderBeep slow down 3ds Max or my render times? No. RenderBeep doesn’t touch your render engine or scene — it just listens for the “render finished” event and fires a lightweight message when that happens.
Does RenderBeep see or upload my scene, models, or the finished render image? No. Nothing leaves your computer except a one-line text notification. See “Is RenderBeep Safe?” above for the full breakdown.
How long does it take to connect to Telegram? About 30 seconds. Click Connect to Telegram, copy the code it gives you, paste it to @RenderBeep_bot in Telegram, and you’re set — no files exchanged.
Does it work with Corona, V-Ray, or other render engines? Yes. RenderBeep isn’t tied to a specific render engine — it works regardless of which one you’re using inside 3ds Max.
Is there a Blender version? Yes, a free RenderBeep add-on for Blender is also available — the install video on this page covers both.
What 3ds Max version do I need? 3ds Max 2014 or newer — any render engine works.
Can I stop the notifications later? Yes, anytime — click Disconnect and it clears the Telegram link and any stored data immediately.
